Now that I’m in the Apple Developer program, and have filled out all the required forms, gotten the certificates and portals (and yes, it sometimes does feel like an odd computer game), I am ready to begin hardware testing of the Knit Suite apps. I got Kitchener Stitch to run on my aged iTouch 2G, and it worked — and looks very pretty — but it’s slow. I’ll speed things up as much as possible and hope the newer iThings run faster.

Which reminds me … if any readers of this blog would like to beta test my apps, let me know. Beta testing an iApp is a bit of a hassle. Just getting your iThing set up to accept the beta app is complex. So, if you do want to test the apps, let me know your experience “under the hood” with computers and handhelds.
