Just recently, Dan realized he is Aspie too &#8230; a very common occurence.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to videos, <a title=\"Coulter Video\" href=\"http:\/\/www.coultervideo.com\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Dan&#8217;s website<\/a> has an extensive <a title=\"Coulter articles\" href=\"http:\/\/www.coultervideo.com\/articles.htm\" target=\"_blank\">articles library<\/a>, most written by Dan himself. I ahven&#8217;t read all of the articles, but those \u00a0have read are quite good. Here&#8217;s an excerpt from his latest article:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Ever since I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome last year, I\u2019ve had flashes of understanding about my childhood. I was a confident kid in many ways, but I also remembering worrying about things. As Mother\u2019s Day approaches, I particularly remember how understanding and encouraging my mom always was.<\/p>\n<p>I appreciate this even more now because I see how easy it can be to dismiss the fears and concerns of a child with Asperger Syndrome. Especially when those fears don\u2019t seem reasonable. But realizing that your child\u2019s mind works differently &#8212; and that his fears are real and rational to him &#8212; can be one of the keys to helping him conquer his anxiety.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.coultervideo.com\/aspergersyndromeandmomsteachingessay.htm\">Asperger Syndrome and Moms: Teaching Step By Step<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He also has a web page on <a title=\"grant\" href=\"http:\/\/www.coultervideo.com\/writingagrant.htm\" target=\"_blank\">writing grant proposals for autism awareness and anti-bullying programs<\/a>.
