I’m in the process of changing the look of this blog to both match my website and to be easier to navigate. Expect more improvements in the next few days.
For those of you interested in the tech-geek aspects:
My blog is hosted on my web site, and uses the WordPress engine. I’m using a theme called Suffusion, recommended by a web designer friend who said it could do anything. And Wendy was right … but it’s complex, and takes time to learn.
Even though I’m using Suffusion for a very clean, minimal format (I like clean and minimal) it has more bells and whistles than a circus train. This means I can use Suffusion in my web/blog design projects to design a blog to match my client’s sense of style and existing web page.
WordPress — Suffusion can aslo be used to code an entire website, with the benefit that the client can add and change the content without knowing anything about code. I’ll be writing more about this later.
